We are to pray for one another....
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may
obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need.
Hebrews 4:16

Since the Word admonishes us to pray without ceasing, pray boldly, pray
for one another, pray for our leaders...let us pray!

Let's keep this going!

We pray for optimum health, mental clarity and political
prosperity for President Barack Obama.  We pray that what he lacks in
'experience' you make up for with supernatural wisdom and power.  We
also pray that when his enemies come upon him they will stumble and
fall; and that your love will fill his heart to the end that 'Your will'
will be done through him.
We pray mightily for his protection.  As we plead the Blood of
Jesus over him and his family, we ask you to dispatch legions of angels
to protect them from all hurt, harm, danger, and from all accidents and
incidents as he is the President of these United
States of America .

We thank and praise you for answering our sincere prayers.   In
Jesus' Name, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this venue, where your children (some
of us who will never meet on this side) can come to you on one accord,
touching and agreeing by way of the world wide web. We thank you that
the very tool that the enemy uses to spread garbage can also be used to
spread your good news! We thank you for the compassion that moves us to
pray for those who may not be able to pray for themselves right now.
Father, we pray for the people who have lost jobs and dignity. We pray that
someone will reach out to them before it is too late, and let them know that
you love them and are able to help. Send someone across their paths, right
now Lord, who can give them hope in an otherwise hopeless situation. You
see, Lord, we know that sometimes it takes more than just prayer and a
word of encouragement. Sometimes it takes us actually providing a meal or
two. Sometimes it may mean digging real deep to make a difference. Bless
us so that we can be a blessing. Amen

As the rate of unemployment sky rockets, as one business after the other
shuts it doors (maybe forever), as the national deficit rises to the trillions,
as the cost of  health care makes going to the doctor last on your list of
priorities;  Let us pray!

As a new government is ushered in, one that is more diverse than any
other in the history of our nation; let us pray!

Pray for the family who is  wondering how to make next months mortgage.
Yours may not be in trouble, thank God, but someone else's is.

Pray for the man who is despondent because he has gotten laid off, the first
time in 20 years.  He is getting older and feels that he can no longer
compete with the younger men for his job.  His savings are dwindling fast
and he still has a family to take care of.  He hasn't prayed in a long time so
he doesn't even think that God will hear him.  Since he doesn't see the light
at the end of the tunnel...he buys a gun.

Pray for the young girl who isn't feeling the love at home.  Mom is so busy
trying to get her own hook up while there is still time, that she doesn't see
how hungry her daughter is for attention...any attention.  She looks to her
MySpace page which has proven to be her only friend lately and sees that
she has a message.  Not realizing that the guy on the other end of the
mouse is old enough to be her father...she answers.

Pray for the young man who is tired of seeing his mother struggle to keep
food on the table and a roof over their heads.  He dropped out of school
thinking that this would give him a chance to make a difference...only he
can't find a job..there just aren't enough to go around.  A man sees his
need and decides to help out.  The young man is too discouraged to ask
questions.  He doesn't care what is in the package that he has been asked
to deliver.  He only knows that his family needs the $200.00 that he has
been promised.  He takes the package....

Pray for the man who has learned that the love of his life isn't in love with
him anymore.  He could just go out and find another but his pride has taken
a beaten.  The thought of her being in the arms of another is more than he
can bear.  His mind can't seem to wrap itself around the idea that there is
life without her.  He can't seem to make her understand that they were
meant to be together...he waits for her after work.

We have got to get busy and PRAY!
